With a new year approaching, there’s more often than not a feeling that something new is waiting for us. Many of us set New Year’s resolutions or goals for the year ahead, usually with the very best intentions, but sometimes with slightly unrealistic expectations.
However, a new year doesn’t ask you to suddenly become a different person or to change everything overnight, and it certainly doesn’t require a complete reinvention by January 2nd. It simply offers you another chapter, another opportunity to move forward in ways that feel right for you.
Maybe that means trying something new in the coming months.
Maybe it means continuing exactly as you are, but with a little more confidence.
Or maybe it’s about trusting that the next steps will reveal themselves when the time is right, without you having to have everything worked out in advance.
As we move from one year to the next, I wanted to share a little numerology with you. 2026 is a Universal 1 year, a year of fresh starts, transformation, independence, and new beginnings. It follows a Universal 9 year, which carries the energy of reflection, healing, and closure.
So 2026 brings an invitation, an invitation to step onto your own path with courage, creativity, and self-trust. And even within this new energy, there’s no need to rush. Growth doesn’t need to be hurried. Each step, however small it might seem, carries its own wisdom.
You really don’t have to enter January armed with a colour coded, step-by-step plan or a long list of goals. You can step into it gently, carrying with you what you’ve already learned, leaving behind what no longer fits, and staying open to what is still unfolding. And remember, sometimes the smallest steps forward can bring the biggest transformations.
So here’s to stepping gently and confidently into 2026,
with warmth, love, and light.

A very positive and reassuring look at 2026. I have some changes to make this year regarding living space and also to develop my creative side further, without feeling pressured. I like the idea of a calm approach to changes. Thanks Liz
