Spiritual, Human, Real!

This morning, I woke up feeling a little less than my best, and as I sat with my coffee, I felt called to share something with you all, not as a teacher or an expert, but simply as a human being who walks this path alongside you.

Sometimes people assume that being a holistic therapist means you’re immune to tired days, self-doubt, or being under the weather. But the truth is, we’re all human. We still catch colds, have off days, and feel overwhelmed sometimes. Healing work doesn’t put you on a pedestal, it simply gives you tools you try to use, even when you’re not feeling your strongest.

The same goes for being psychic, intuitive, or reading tarot. It doesn’t mean you have all the answers or can see every twist and turn before it comes. Intuition is like a conversation, sometimes it’s loud and clear, sometimes it’s a whisper, And that’s okay.

And believing in spirit, energy, or alternative perspectives definitely doesn’t make anyone “weird” or “out there.” It just means your experiences have shaped you in a different way to some others,  We all make sense of the world differently, some through science, some through spirituality, some through art or nature, and many through a blend of them all.

For me, spirituality isn’t all about floating in a cloud of incense, crystals, or imagining angels and fairies at every corner (although those things can be and are beautiful if they resonate with you). It’s more about freedom, the freedom to explore what feels supportive, comforting, or true in your own heart. It can be grounding practices like meditation, journaling, or connecting with nature. It can be quiet inner nudges, meaningful coincidences, ancestral traditions, or simply choosing to believe the world is bigger and kinder than it sometimes appears.

Most of all, it’s a personal journey. No one has to fit into a labelled box or follow a strict set of beliefs. You’re allowed to change, evolve, mix things together, or start again whenever you need to.

So, if today you’re not feeling your strongest either, know that you’re not alone, and that being spiritual, sensitive, or intuitive doesn’t require perfection, just honesty, curiosity, and a willingness to meet yourself exactly where you are.

With warmth, Love and Light, Liz Xx

  1. Very relaxing words, gives a feeling of understanding of life and the issues we all can experience. it’s been a help to me in the past and it’s important to know that Liz is subject to issues as well, which is a positive when undergoing treatments.

  2. Thank you for your messages Liz. They are always thought provoking and it is important to be reminded that we all have off days and that it’s ok to get a bit lost sometimes. Your reassurance and quiet guidance is always appreciated. I hope others find it as useful as I do. X
